Main Aims/Objectives
With the programme contents required, we intend to transmit the students Law introductory contents, the main ideas about the Architecture Law; the command of the conditionings which involve the human intervention on the environment; the juridical regimes linked to the exercise of Architecture; the inherent principles of professional deontology.
Specific Aims/Objectives
We intend that the students learn and master the conditionings which involve the human activity over the environment, namely the human, cultural and environmental; the juridical regime of real estate property; the juridical regime of edification and urbanization; the juridical regime of planning and classification of the territory; as well as the general principles relating to the professional ethics and deontology.
Skills to be acquired
The candidates must be prepared so as to, in the development of their activity, be able to complement their technical aptitudes with the juridical knowledge transmitted, taking into account the obvious relation between Law and Architecture. The students must know and master the juridical regimes related to the exercise of architecture and the inherent principles of professional deontology.
Teaching Procedures
Theoretical-lectures: the expositive method resorting to the ICT will be adopted in the learning and the fundamental knowledge acquisitions.
The teaching/learning process will be completed through the oral interaction concerning the analysis of concrete cases and the debate.

Evaluation Type
The evaluation conceived as formation, allows the students to control their progression along the academic year. This perspective of pedagogy intends to create a dynamic which involves teacher/student in the establishment of a course, in which the evaluation allows motivation and formation
Continuous evaluation will be performed through the use of varied instruments varied and adequate to the adopted strategies, namely: interventions in the classes and two written tests each term.
Teaching Resources
Consultation of articles and monographs. Use of a computer for the research of specialized bibliography and other documents. Use of a video-projector.
