Main Aims/Objectives

The course aims to study the rules of commercial companies, some commercial contracts and bankruptcy.

Specific Aims/Objectives

The UC Commercial Ativity Law has the following purposes:
- Knowledge of the rules of the commercial societies
- The study of some commercial contracts;
- Knowledge of the rules of bankruptcy

Skills to be acquired

Students must know, both the theoretical as well as practical aspects of the basic rules of commercial companies, without neglecting the matter of the commercial contracts and bankruptcy

Teaching Procedures

Are taught lectures accompanied by practical classes. The subject is taught in a way expository lectures, even if with emphasis on examples drawn from the case law of the higher courts.
In practical classes, occurs primarily conducting case studies prepared by the teachers based on situations addressed in the jurisprudence. Do not disregards the theoretical explanation of some matter to complement the case studies discussed.

Evaluation Type

The methodology is based on theoretical exposition, complemented with a pragmatic aspect, either through the presentation of case studies for resolution, or by the presentation (and subsequent discussion) of decisions of the higher courts.
