Main Aims/Objectives
Knowing the political views that over time if you were stating, understand how human societies have organized and organize is the central objective of this discipline. Through this knowledge we can understand what the meaning of Justice, freedom and security realizing this so that the ends always presuppose the existence of principles, without which human life is devoid of meaning and reason.
Specific Aims/Objectives
1. Understand the evolution of the political thought in the West, from Ancient Greece to the present time, in view of the understanding of the principles that are common to the Western world.
2. Contribute to a solid human formation, based on the development of critical thinking and perception of difference of ideas, as essential assumption a national and international society, fair and free.
Skills to be acquired
- Identification and understanding of main chains of thought politician, in the World Occidental person
- Valuation of the diversity of the Ideas Politics, as distinctive and congregador element of the World Occidental person
Teaching Procedures
The education of this disciplines includes:
- Theoretical-Practical lessons, for the transmission of contents and examples of related and concrete situations related with those contents;
- lessons of Tutorial Orientation in view of helping students to do a correct bibliographical research and to have a correct understanding of the contents
