Main Aims/Objectives

Portugal have, since 1974, a new position in the plan of its external relations, translating deep the perspectives and the challenges of the regimen implanted after the military blow of 25 of April. Then for here, the Portuguese external politics covered some cycles after all reflect the options of the State in the descolonization, the adhesion to then the EEC, the consolidation of position in the picture of NATO and the appositive one in the economic diplomacy. To know these cycles is a central objectiv of this subject..

Specific Aims/Objectives

To explain the evolution of the External Politics Portuguese, face to the options followed for the some governments (provisory and constitutional), after the fall of the New State and to fit these options in the picture of the new placed challenges Portugal in headquarters of the Politics of Security and Defense and of the Economic Politics.

Teaching Procedures

The education of this disciplines understands: - Theoretician-Practical lessons, for the transmission of contents and exemplificação of related concrete situations with these contents; - lessons of Tutorial Orientation in view of helping to the students to one correcta bibliographical research and one correcto agreement of the boarded substances.
