Main Aims/Objectives

knowledge acquisition within the mainstream psychoanalytical, humanists, existentialists and systemic psychology who seek to understand and explain the functioning and psychological development.

Specific Aims/Objectives

It is intended that the students acquire knowledge about the basic concepts of psychoanalytic perspectives, humanists, existentialists and systemic psychology, and develop an understanding of the different conceptual and methodological approaches of the functioning and psychological change, systematizing knowledge in the different conceptions and proposals for psychological intervention.

Skills to be acquired

Recognize and map historical and epistemologically the models presented; Identify the key concepts and theoretical and methodological characteristics; Understanding your key assumptions ontological, epistemological and axiomatic; Differentiate, analyze critically and appropriately apply the concepts formulated by these models in relation to dis / psychological functioning, change and transformation processes and mechanisms or techniques of psychological intervention.

Teaching Procedures

theoretical presentations and multimedia of the syllabus. Readings and discussion of selected works and themes. practical exercises to apply the concepts and theories.
Monitoring and supervision of the study in practical work.
the active participation / student in their teaching-learning process will be favored, so it will focus on independent business (individual and collective) of different authors and approaches.

Evaluation Type

Continuous assessment will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of general evaluation system 1 Psychology course of the cycle:
1-Frequency of 70% of classes
2 Realization of 2 written Points: theoretical component of the course
