Main Aims/Objectives
This course aims to help the student to get in touch with the possibilities of application of psychology to different domains. The student must also understand the specificities and communalities of the several applications of psychology. Besides the intervention contexts the students must also get familiar to the need to articulate theory, research and practice in the different domains of psychology.

to reflect on the specificity of psychological intervention in multicultural and multidisciplinary scenarios
to be aware of the limits of the application of psychological interventions as well as the ethical issues associated
Teaching Procedures
Teaching-learning activities combine the expositive method with active strategies in which the student assumes a central role in its own learning process. Selected classes will be taught by invited psychologists from different areas of psychological intervention. The students will make in small groups a practical work about a selected area of psychological intervention. Themes are selected according to their future professional interests (ex: clinical, health or educational psychology).
