Main Aims/Objectives
The course of Introduction to Drawing, consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part aims to present, which is the design and how it manifests itself. The practical part, intends to give the introduction to handling the drawing.
Specific Aims/Objectives
Specifically, the theoretical part deals with the drawing as a language, defining what is a language and analyzing its elements: Point, Line and Plan, in its values morphological, semantic and syntactic. The practical training aims to trace and learn to see how the analytical method.
Skills to be acquired
The objectives are intended to acquire competence for analyzing a subject, made in two phases: - The first is the intellectual analysis of the object, based on the interpretation of observation. - The second expresses this analysis as a way of seeing and half of criticism, becoming aware of: The concept of ratio as a ratio of all the parties; Framework of the notion of drawing as a territory; The notion of texture and light and matter
Teaching Procedures
Images projections showing the theoretical concepts. Theory and conceptual application through the practical exercises. Colective presentation of the work done in order to stimulate an self-critical analysis. Visits to exhibitions and participation on conferences related to the program contents.
Programme
The programmatic content of this curricular unit develops by means of two thematic blocks and complementary of materials.Each block represents a particular aspect of the process of drawing, not necessarily in contradiction, but complementing them if so that it is possible identify active it simultaneously in various proposals for work. Block 1 - Representation and Recognition The act of creation, design and communication. See designing and creating. Abstraction, Figuration/real/imaginary. The idea and their developments as graphic images and bands, modes and attitudes in assurance graphics drawing as means and instrument of research. Block 2 - Language and Expression Ways of looking at various historical forms. Observer and model real estate Observer in motion. Values of proportion, scale and function. The body, space, time, movement and rhythm. The human figure, the line and its expressiveness. Proportion; Anatomy; Academia; Sketch and a pure line of movement.
Evaluation Type
The theoretical evaluation will focus on: - Written Review on a text provided within the subjects taught. At the pratical level the evaluation will focus on: - The graphic quality of the drawings. - Attendance. - The quality of the fulfillment of the presented program. - Respect for deadlines. - The imagination of the student.
