Main Aims/Objectives

Encourage creativity through improved graphical expression, analyzing and investigating new techniques and perfecting those already gained. Develop observation skills, ability and knowledge of the drawing act and sensitivity to aesthetic values. Using drawing as an indispensable tool for research.

Specific Aims/Objectives

Create conditions for the student to face the act of drawing with agility and awareness exercising manual and mental instruments to understand techniques, systems, codes, models and precessos graphic and plastic representation in the construction and articulation of images. View the drawing and thinking to communicate using it as a research tool and implementation of a project developing the graphics capabilities in its many proposals.

Skills to be acquired

Acquisition of an individual method in drawing. Stimulating research and individualized ability to draw analogies and reitrerpretações towards using the drawing tool for the representation process. Develop critical thinking as the basis of all experimentation.

Teaching Procedures

The methodology includes theoretical lessons and practical exercises. The information and theoretical reflection have in practica your educational referent. Are compared individual and collective drawings, analysis and criticism on them, bibliographic.

Programme

The drawing collects and summarizes the relationship of the images of nature, art and science with the meaning and significance of a subjective catch, announcing the face of transformations of nature and man as expressions of power think the unthinkable.
The program is developed according to a set of thematic and complementary blocks of graphic materials, essential for the field of discipline, studied in coexistence, although, for operational reasons, each of the exposed sequence constitutes the core aggregator treat in each of the periods. The observation / perception of three-dimensionality and two-dimensionality.

Values of proportion, scale and function. Application and importance of systems or codes of representation to determine and figure the third dimension. Analysis and representation of objects from the Bauhaus workshops.
The recognition of three-dimensional confrontation with bidimensionalide. Matter, form, texture. Study of color. Analysis of the influence of color on the objects and flat shapes. Study of its transformation: light / dark, full / empty, texture (s), surface (s). Material, nature, form and touch. Surfaces analysis, chromatic effects. Composition theories.

Evaluation Type

For each proposed exercise you specify the mode of the same, the theme aims to develop, duration and delivery date. Teaching Resources
