Main Aims/Objectives

The Data Analysis, to be framed in the curriculum of Bachelor of Marketing, aims to give students an overview of the applied use of quantitative methods

Specific Aims/Objectives

It is intended to provide students the knowledge and enough instruments which relate to the use of logic and statistical methods in the quantitative study of the environment, based on the collection, interpretation and quantification of data.

Skills to be acquired

Understand the techniques that allow the collection of data in Marketing.
Understand the methods of quantification of data.
To understand the differences between the various techniques for data analysis.
Understand the use of the results.

Teaching Procedures

Theoretical and practical exercises solved on the same concepts are developed. Students will have a set of exercises to practice the skills acquisition

Students will be assessed according to the assessment regime of Lusiada Universities.

Teaching Resources

Will be provided a set of more practical exercises for students to acquire skills. All material support classes will be placed on the e-learning system at the University.
