Main Aims/Objectives

Ability to identify the appropriate doctrine to the thesis as well as the skill to review and identify relevant legal issues in order to achieve predefined goals.

Specific Aims/Objectives

Understand the current legal problems, the law revision in post-modern society

Skills to be acquired

Demonstrate knowledge of the key understandings means of State organization . The origin of the state. The origin of the Rule of Law and its significance. The government liability. Democracy and its limits. The globalization of capitalism: a single ideology behind a global order. The State and the level of political participation. The differentiated citizenship of our day. The problem of law autonomy versus the political and economic order.

1. The Law role and a transnational State.
2. The rule of law.
3. The government liability.
4. A single ideology: capitalism globalization or a political thought in the postmodern era.
5. Universal citizenship versus differentiated citizenship: participation model (post-democracy).
6. Information feudalism in the network society - a critical freedom.
7. The evil in modern thought - the protection of human dignity versus the protection of economic values in the current law.
8. The post-internationalization: the multiplicity of universals (a new dimension to the principle of tolerance).
9. The ethical understanding of human nature (from a eugenic liberal approach to the human rights): where is humanism?
10. The law autonomy (a axiological dimension) and the indifference of the place – challenges for the law State dimension.
11. For a revision of the personal rights.
