Main Aims/Objectives
To analyze models and theories of psychological intervention in the context of behavioral and cognitive models
Specific Aims/Objectives
To recognize and map, historically and epistemologically, the behavioural and cognitive theories and models;
To analyse the main concepts and epistemological principles of behavioural and cognitive models;
To explore the contribution and weaknesses of the different models and theories explored to understand psychological functioning.
Skills to be acquired
It is expected that the students acquire competencies allowing them:
- to contextualise, from a historical and epistemological perspective, behaviourist and cognitivist models and theories
- to differentiate, operationalize, and to critically analyze these theories and models

- Attendance (i.e., it is mandatory to attend a minimum of 70% of the classes)
- Two written tests taken during the semester
