Main Aims/Objectives

Provide students with a strategic vision of human resource management in order to integrate human capital in the organization´s strategy , creating value and fueling competitive advantages.

Enable students to develop a theoretical understanding of the subject, and understand the key challenges of people management.

Specific Aims/Objectives

Locate the strategic management of human resources within the corporate strategy
Recognize the different strategies for the management of human resources
Knowing the strategy development process and its implementation applied to human resources management
Know and identify strategies at the level of the main business areas of human resource management
Recognize the employer brand as a strategic approach to human resources management Understand the link between the retention, retention and development policies

Skills to be acquired

Implement HR strategies integrated with corporate strategy
Planning the development of an employer brand
Developing attraction policies (recruitment and selection)
Develop retention policies (careers and benefits management)
Develop people development policies (development potential and personal skills)

Evaluation Type

Guided by the assessment regulations of the University, based on two mini-tests and assignments on OT classes, supplemented with frequency. Weights set by regulation.
