Main Aims/Objectives
1. To teach how to think for Multimedia Design.
2. To teach how to create multimedia projects for the internet.
Specific Aims/Objectives
1. To teach HTML syntax (introductory level).
2. To teach CSS syntax (introductory level).
3. To teach how to plan a multimedia project.
4. To teach how to project interfaces.
5. To teach how to organize multimedia content.
Skills to be acquired
At the end of the semester the students should be able to:
1. Understand the characteristics of multimedia design.
2. Plan internet sites.
3. Creating a flowchart.
4. Understand HTML and CSS (introductory level).
5. Project interfaces and organize content.
6. Conceive content for internet sites.
7. Using HTML and CSS in the organization of a site (introductory level).
Teaching Procedures
The teaching will have a theoretical part where we will be using the expositive and the interrogative methods, and a practical part, where we will be using the demonstrative and the active methods.

2. Interface Design.
2.1 Concept of an interface.
2.2 Interface structure.
2.3 Organizing contents in a interface.
2.4 Hyper-links.
2.5 Buttons and rollovers.
3. HTML.
3.1 Syntax of a HTML element.
3.2 Main HTML elements and its characteristics.
3.3 Main HTML attributes.
3.4 Structure of a HTML page.
4. CSS.
4.1 Syntax.
4.2 CSS box.
4.3 Main CSS properties and values.
4.4 Working with HTML and CSS in the design of a site.
Evaluation Type
During the semester the students will be assessed by two tests.
