Main Aims/Objectives
Provide students with a strategic vision of human resource management in order to integrate human capital in the organization´s strategy , creating value and fueling competitive advantages, in VUCA environments.
Specific Aims/Objectives
Situate strategic human resources management within the framework of corporate strategy in VUCA environments;
Describe the strategic development process and its implementation applied to human resources management;
Relate the purposes of attracting, retaining and developing talent in organisations;
Recognise the role of health and well-being in an organisation´s sustainability.
Skills to be acquired
Students are expected to recognise the importance of aligning HR and organisational strategies in VUCA environments, identifying emerging areas of action.
Students should be able to plan, implement and evaluate talent recruitment, selection and integration activities, as well as learning and development strategies.
Finally, students should be able to describe and explain the integrated model of health and well-being at work.
Teaching Procedures
Expository, demonstrative and active methods are used. Topics are presented and discussed, posing problems to provoke critical thinking and collective discussion. Methodology based on the case study method, among others, is also used.

Evaluation Type
Two written points and work carried out in OT classes, complemented by attendance/final exam. Weightings defined by University regulations.
