Presentation

The objectives of this 2nd cycle of studies aim towards providing the ones who have a first cycle of formation, with specialized global capabilities providing a more qualified professional performance, as well as the acquisition of knowledge and skills that enable natural scientific and academic progression. The formation of Masters represents for the labor market, for research and for the country an asset of value in specific terms and in general terms, be they scientific or social. - Organize the places where people lead their lives: the spaces where they work, live and have fun, thinking carefully about them in order to improve the quality of daily life: - Learning to design well articulated systems that create a link between people and its surroundings - Carefully analyze the details concerning to the volume, the surfaces, to the distribution of full and empty spaces and carefully check proportions, light sources and aspects of color; - Deploy carefully weighted options that respond to the requirements of comfort and of individual expression, of efficiency and of identity; - Fraiming of contemporary themes such as the integration of new technologies, ecological concerns and of inclusive design in their projects. The program of the course intends to present instruments for interior design not only resorting to the using furniture and accessories but also architectural construction. Therefore, the objective is still to encourage and sensitize students to the effectiveness of physical and Visual structures of a compartment and, also, get them to look at their ergonomic efficiency and communicative value. Such objective is achieved through the programmatic content of curriculum units, intended to support the projectual work and to generate an interdisciplinary environment. The works done in and outside the classroom will be complemented by study visits, thus achieving a significantly valuable contribution of the industries in the formation of the students and can be performed under the celebration of protocols with local businesses that show interest in the construction, production and commercial edition of the created products.
