Main Aims/Objectives

This CU is aims to enable the study and reflection on the main challenges faced in the confrontation with the job market, as well as the improvement of the students´ professtional and cientific skills.

Specific Aims/Objectives

1) To develop capabilities related to the evaluation and intervention in an educative context.
2) To critically analyze the Educational Psychologist intervention domains.
3) Promote reflection and self-assessment on practice in the work context

Skills to be acquired

1) To identify and to apply the generalities and the specific characteristics of educational psychology.
2) To develop and apply effective psychological strategies in order to evaluate and to implement an intervention regarding teaching/learning processes, considering the multiple agents and contexts.

Analysis and discussion of scientific articles.

Internship presentation in specific moments of the school year.
Case discussion.

1. Concept of Supervision
1.1. Ethical-deontological principles of the profession

2. Educational psychology: scope, perspectives and intervention models depending on the internship context

3. The educational psychologist and his assignments

4. Preparation and evaluation of projects

5. Scientifc writing

Evaluation Type

a) Attendance;
b)Writen analysis about the intership: december, March and May.
c) Presentations of the work developed to the class and to the first year master students: February and May.
d) Group reflections and presentations on the practice in the work context: two times during the school year.
