Presentation

The Short Course on Digital Fashion and Sustainability is recommended for a variety of individuals interested in improving workflows with digital assets. This includes fashion designers, marketers, merchandisers, technical developer, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals who want to learn how to incorporate digital tools and sustainable practices into their work. The course covers the intersection between fashion, technology, and sustainability, and provides insights into how to create and sell digital fashion through a variety of channels.

Objectives

This course will provide a broad overview of the current market scenario when it comes to digital fashion and production workflows, sustainability as well as the future outlook of the customer's digital identity in Web 3.0 and the metaverse. You'll be learning about 3D software, how to set up high-quality 3D visualizations, and maximizing output from your digital products. We shall also be comparing conventional production pipelines and ways to integrate digital processes, virtual showrooms, and editorial shoots – delivering engaging experiences for both you, your clients (B2B) and your customers (B2C). To finish off this comprehensive program we shall design a tailor-made strategy that integrates all these learnings into your everyday business activities.

Target audience

Designers, Marketeers, Merchandisers, Technical Developers, Entrepreneurs and Industry Professionals.

This course is designed for young professionals, fashion designers, and businesses who want to grow their digital strength by implementing sustainable production workflows, improving internal and external communication, supporting merchandise, and creating immersive marketing tools. It will provide you with an understanding of the current state of the marketplace so that you can make well-informed decisions about what opportunities to take advantage of. You'll be able to determine your company's position in this space along with identifying different kinds of metaverses to place your product and develop strategies.

Learning, Methodology and Assessement

The methodology used will be learning by doing. After a short presentation, participants will be requested to implement in their everyday work some of the most relevant ideas from their point of view. The results achieved will be shared through a digital file submitted using Mooddle.

Language

The course will be lectured in English.

Certification

Participants attending a minimum of 70% of the sessions will be entitled to a Certificate of Attendance, if they do not wish to submit their work for assessment, or a Certificate on Digital Fashion Course with the assessment.
