Main Aims/Objectives
To obtain knowledge (and practice) to conduct a qualitative data analysis within psychological investigation and practice, namely for document analysis.
Specific Aims/Objectives
More specifically, students should develop skills of documents analysis according to different theoretical and methodological approaches distinguishing and using main concepts and procedures related to content analysis, grounded analysis, discourse analysis and narrative analysis.

More specifically, students should develop skills of documents analysis according to different theoretical and methodological approaches distinguishing and using main concepts and procedures related to content analysis, grounded analysis, discourse analysis and narrative analysis.
Teaching Procedures
Classes will include lecture and discussion, but students’ participation will be strongly encouraged. Mandatory and complementary readings for each class will be indicated as teaching and learning method will stress students’ active role. Practical exercises will be provided during classes. A team work data analysis’ project will be conducted extra-classes by students in order to materialize skills developed.

Evaluation Type
Both written assignment and teamwork´s project are included in evaluation. Individual participation is also considered.
