Main Aims/Objectives

This curricular unit allows the knowledge and development of skills in the use of management software, providing an integrated view of the different areas of the management of a company.
It is intended that the student will know and use management software in terms of business management, accounting, human resources management and asset management and then analyze the information.

Specific Aims/Objectives

The student should achieve the following learning objectives:
- know a specific management software;
- know the functionalities of the software in the management of the company;
- perform all tasks in the software relating to a company; and,
- extract information from the software for analysis and management support.

Skills to be acquired

It is intended that the student be able to know and use a specific management software, regarding:
- organization of the company from receipt of the documents to its filing, classification and registration;
- stock management
- debt management of customers and suppliers;
- human resources management;
- asset management; and,
- internal control practices.

Teaching Procedures

Expositive method through the exposition of the programmatic contents, with the use of the software. To assist the theoretical exposition, practical examples are used, always with the use of a collaborative methodology. Tasks are proposed, with resources to cases of business life, that the student will perform to obtain skill in the use of the software.
