Main Aims/Objectives

Providing students with knowledge about new issues of the Advanced Civil Procedure Law, specially the European Civil Procedure, and analyze the current proposals to amend the Portugueses Civil Procedure Code.

Specific Aims/Objectives

The lectures and tutorials allow monitoring and understanding the future reforms of the Portugueses Civil Procedure Law, and their integration into the European Union Civil Procedure framework.

Skills to be acquired

Students contact with Regulation (EC) No 44/2001, and Regulation (CE9 No. 2201/2003, as well as discuss and analyze the proposals to amend the the Portuguese Civil Procedure Code.

Teaching Procedures

Lectures are supplemented with tutorials.

Evaluation shall consist the realization of a work and a final written examination.
