Main Aims/Objectives

The have reached, in gradual and constant way, a paper each more excellent time in the scene international politics, assuming exactly in some cases a prominent position face to the national States.
To provide to the students a knowledge of the main Political International Organizations in the context of the current reality, as well as the ends the one that if consider and the ways of that they make use for its prossecução, are essential objectives of this discipline.

Specific Aims/Objectives

- To understand the International Organizations while actores of the International Relations.
- To know the main organizations international politics of universal characteristic to the level of the objectives, organic structure and current importance.
- To know the main organizations international politics of regional characteristic and understanding as they intervine in the internal life of the national States

Skills to be acquired

- Capacity of analysis and evaluation of the paper currently developed by the main institutions and organizations international politics.
- Understanding of the true level of political decision .

Teaching Procedures

The education of this disciplines understands: - Theoretician-Practical lessons, for the
transmission of contents and exemplificação of related concrete situations with these contents; -
lessons of Tutorial Orientation in view of helping to the students to one correcta bibliographical
research and one correct agreement of the boarded substances.

Evaluation Type

Continuous assessment follows the parameters of existing legislation and may be modified
according to changes in that legislation and the guidelines of the University.
Continuous assessment will depend on the positive contribution of the following:
1. presence and active participation in class;
2. carrying out two tests of continuous assessment;
3. elaboration of a practical case study to present and discuss in class.
