Main Aims/Objectives

From the presentation of matters relating to subjects such as Criminal Investigation, Law, Criminology, Scientific Police and Psychology, will be transmit knowledge can allow the student to review the criminal process and its actors as well as the formulation of procedures in terms of the study of the crime

In order to understand what happens, what they do, who can do what and when, not only in terms of skills.

But also his presence after contest (Center of Judicial studies, Judiciary Police, Lawyers Order, etc.) at any procedural stage primarily in the inquerity, in the instruction, in the judgment and in the execution.

Programme

The organs of formal and informal social control, and the anonymous general public, have been demanding, increasingly, a better and higher contribution in terms of the participation of the lawyers, having as a background the forensic and criminal sciences.
This is a adequate requirement, aimed at scientific contribution for the proper establishment of facts, through criminological analysis.
The key to avoiding the technical slide, in seat of presentation of evidences, requires meticulous preparation and prior practice. Hence our interest in contributing to improving the technical and presencial performance.
A trained and sensitized expert for the sudden changes of human nature, can follow the scientific – technical development in this area and promote reporting and the clarifications that will be an assurance of success in terms of Juridical and Penal Sciences, in correspondence of to Criminal Investigation.
To achieve this aim, we will cover, among others, the following materials:
Analysis of the types of the crimes and patterns of the crime (1993 - 2014). The proof, means and models. The dynamics of the race. Material evidence (biological, physico-chemical and other types of traces – research, collection, analysis and processing; judicial inspection: management activities from the place of the crime, criminal investigation and forense medicine) and personal proof (interview, questioning in particular in the framework of witnesses most vulnerable). Crime scene. Reconstruction and restoration of the crime. Criminal motivation. Modus operandi and signature. Evaluationof real cases: preparation and systematic procedures, namely, theft and robbery, homicida, bodily harm, arson, kidnapping and abduction, rape and assault in sexual abuse, among others.

Evaluation Type

1.Continuous assessment: applied in function of the student «learn to be» and to the «know how», through the monitoring their progresso (integration of ideas, contents and concepts; appropriateness of the conclusions and personal investment and creativity).
2.Written periodic assessment in two stages: (60%, by superior decision).
3.Final written test/ assessment: (40%, by superior decision).
