Main Aims/Objectives

- Understanding the assumptions of criminal liability, the special forms of crime and the respective legal consequences;
- Mastery of the technique of solving practical cases.

Specific Aims/Objectives

- Understand the social transcendence of criminal justice and relate it to the interpretation and application of criminal laws;
- Develop a critical spirit of political-criminal analysis and relate it to the interpretation and application of criminal laws;
- Master the legal-criminal technical language, in view of oral and written arguments;
- Acquire methodological skills in solving specific cases, in order to obtain practical income from theoretical learning.

Skills to be acquired

Clarity in speech, spirit of synthesis and ability to understand and relate theoretical issues to practical issues.

Teaching Procedures

Exposition of the syllabus, in the context of a theoretical class, and an active learning model in practical and tutorial classes, favoring class participation, namely in solving practical cases, and guiding research strategies and deepening knowledge such as complement to theoretical classes.
